| There are hundreds of hotels in the Orlando or Kissimmee areas for low rates, but sadly- the Saint Cloud area is not quite as blessed with quality lodging. Here are the top three I thought you might look into and the reasons I listed them... Prices listed are the "lowest rate available" as requested by phone conversation with the reservation dept of each hotel. You may be able to locate a less expensive rate using an internet reservation. (if anyone has a hotel suggestion to add, please send it along- I will be glad to post them.) Click on name of each hotel to go to their website. Nicest appearance and most amenities: (also highest rate) Clarion Resort and Waterpark 2261 East Irlo Bronson Hwy, Kissimmee 34744 Phone: 407.846.2221 Located about 4 miles from Sidelines bar it is near the turnpike on 192. Rates: $110 per night plus tax and also plus a $15 "Resort" fee they add on because of the waterpark. (whether you plan to use it or not) Closest to Sidelines bar: This hotel is only about 1 mile away for anyone planning to have lots of drinks - it is a cheap cab ride back to the hotel. Polynesian Inn 2900 13th Street, St. Cloud, 34769 Phone: 407.749.0923 $50 plus tax per night- plus $5 extra for each extra person in the room. Unfortunately, I had trouble finding any good reviews for this hotel. It looks harmless from the outside, I did not check inside rooms of any of these hotels- sorry... Middle of the road: Not as many good reviews as Clarion, but rates are lower. About 4 miles from Sidelines bar. Not many rooms available & many are smoking rooms. Quality Inn Heritage Park 2050 E.
